Sweet & Spicy BBQ Chicken Tacos w/Cilantro Ranch Coleslaw

It's raining tacos! Ok not really, but if you know that song, well, now it's in your head. And if you don't know that song, you can check it out HERE and thank me later. Ha!

Alright, so let's get to this Sweet & Spicy BBQ Chicken Tacos recipe! Just a few things I'd like to point out with this recipe. I found it on Delish and they called it Crack Chicken Tacos. I decided to edit the ingredients slightly and then rename it because if you've made Crack Chicken before, it's not like this recipe...at all. These tacos ARE delicious, but because BBQ sauce is one of the main flavors, which is not in Crack Chicken, I just couldn't label these as "Crack Chicken Tacos".

You'll also notice from the step-by-step photos below, that I did not cut the chicken tenders into 2" pieces. Mostly because I missed that part of the recipe but in the end, I think it helped with the chicken not drying out. This is totally up to you on how you would like to prepare it. I ended up cutting them once they came out of the oven.

Final tip, I ended up adding red pepper flakes to the bbq sauce mixture because I wanted a little more kick. If you want it spicy, I suggest adding it or even hot sauce and try and find a spicy bbq sauce. I purchased Kraft Spicy Honey, but it was still pretty sweet. Honestly, if you want to omit or lessen the bbq sauce amount and add hot sauce instead, I bet these would be just as delicious!
